The Monster NFT Airdrop

When early access opens, Monster NFTs will be airdropped to the top 5,000 trainers on the points leaderboard.

This is not first come, first served. Monster NFTs are awarded on points, not on how early you signed up. Signing up does not reserve one — you have to earn your rank and hold it until the leaderboard locks.

There is no sale and no buying your way in. This airdrop is settled by the leaderboard: finish pre-registration inside the top 5,000 trainers on points and a Monster NFT is airdropped to you — with the top 2,000 receiving a Genesis Legendary, the founding set.

Once the leaderboard locks, this airdrop is closed for good. It finalises one week before early access launch, and we'll announce the exact date with plenty of notice (see Important Dates).

Late to pre-registration? You are not locked out. The leaderboard is points-based, so a trainer who signs up today and grinds daily can pass someone who signed up on day one and stopped showing up.

Who gets what

The top 2,000 trainers each receive a Genesis Legendary. Ranks 2,001 to 5,000 receive a Rare Egg. Where you finish decides which.

Meet the Genesis Legendaries

Four monsters, and where you finish decides which one lands in your wallet.

Storm is the newest monster in the set, and the hardest to earn — in this airdrop it goes to the top 50. The top 10 trainers receive Storm and a second Genesis Legendary alongside it, which is why the airdrop totals 5,010 Monster NFTs across 5,000 trainers.

What changed on 12 August

We widened the tiers and added a new monster at the very top. Every band either kept the monster it was already in line for or moved up into a better one — Storm was added above the old ladder rather than pushing anyone down it.

Twice as many Legendaries. Legendary monsters used to stop at rank 1,000. They now run all the way to rank 2,000 — twice as far down the leaderboard as before.

Nothing has been nerfed. This update does not nerf an existing Yakkamon for a leaderboard ranking. Lower-tier Yakkamon utility is being lifted to match previously expected traits, and we're releasing more monsters — so every rank still gets the kind of monster utility it was already in line for, and a thousand more trainers now hold a Legendary. We'll be releasing the monster utilities in September, so stay tuned!

How this differs from your egg and the free mint

There are three separate rewards, and people mix them up constantly. The counter ticking up on pre-registration is the Monster Egg counter — it has nothing to do with this airdrop.

You can have all three, and one doesn't affect another. Missing out on a Platinum egg does not hurt your airdrop chances — every trainer, whatever egg they claimed, competes for the same 5,000 Monster NFTs on points alone. Signing up first buys you a better egg; it buys you nothing on the leaderboard.

Why they matter

These are some of the strongest monsters in the game — handed out for free, purely as a thank-you for your support in the lead-up to launch.

• Genuinely powerful. These monsters sit at the top end of the power curve. They aren't cosmetic collectibles; they're an edge you carry into the game from day one.
• Fully tradable. They're yours. Hold them, build around them, or trade them on-chain.
• Specialised. Some are built for battle. Some are built for gathering. Others excel at different corners of the game entirely. And some are simply stronger than others.

👀 The Reveal Event

Here's the part worth waiting for: you won't know what you got until launch.

At early access launch we're running a live Reveal Event — a moment where every airdropped monster is unwrapped at once, and trainers finally see which creature they've been holding. Some trainers will walk away with a top-tier battler. Some will unwrap a gathering monster that quietly prints resources for months. A rare few will reveal something the rest of the world spends the season trying to trade for.

The free mint monsters get their own reveal earlier, on 14th October — a month after that mint goes live and well ahead of launch.

How to secure your place

Every point counts, and rank is everything.

• Nurture daily — tap your egg every day and hold your streak.
• Complete quests — link Discord and Twitter, post weekly, show up in the community.
• Refer friends — every signup pushes you further up the board.
• Free mint — minting the Monster NFT on Ronin earns points toward your rank (see Free Mint).
• Deposit early $FLOWER — bigger deposits earn exponentially more points, and you keep the $FLOWER either way (see $FLOWER Deposits).

The board is live and moving. Every day you wait, someone else climbs past you — and every day you show up, you climb past someone who didn't.
