Does Yakkamon mean Sunflower Land gets less attention?

No. Sunflower Land is not slowing down — and Yakkamon is part of how it grows.

We understand the concern. It's a fair thing to ask when a team announces a second game. Here's the honest answer.

Sunflower Land is still shipping

In the same six months we've been building Yakkamon, Sunflower Land committed to a 2-year roadmap, open source contributors have gone up, and our release cadence has kept climbing. The work speaks for itself — it's all public, and you can watch it land every week.

A creature collector doesn't belong inside a farming game

Sunflower Land is a big, mature, complex game. Bolting a full creature collector onto it would take years and slow both games down. Spinning Yakkamon out as its own project lets us build and iterate far faster — and lets Sunflower Land keep being Sunflower Land.

Both games grow the same ecosystem

There is no new token. Yakkamon runs on $FLOWER, the same token used across our games. More games means more places to use $FLOWER, more players in the ecosystem, and more reasons to be here. This isn't a competing project — it's the same ecosystem getting bigger.

We're growing the team to meet the demand

We're actively looking for more designers, developers, moderators, and community managers. Our philosophy hasn't changed: trust the team, keep it lean, and scale when the work calls for it. A lean team is how we've always moved fast, and we add people when it's needed rather than ahead of it.

5+ years of shared foundations

This team has worked together for over five years. What takes some projects a year, we can do in three months — because the architecture, tooling, and hard-won lessons carry directly from one game to the other. We're not building things twice.

AI handles the work that used to eat our time

Recent advances in AI coding have let us streamline a lot of the unglamorous work that used to consume days: migrations, reporting, reward distribution, moderation, and bot detection. That's time going straight back into building both games.

Is there a new token?

No. Yakkamon uses $FLOWER, the same token used across our games. You can start collecting it now — early deposits earn pre-registration points and can be spent in-game or withdrawn tax-free once you have access (see $FLOWER Deposits).

When does Yakkamon launch?

Early access opens in November or December 2026, rolling out in waves. Higher-ranked trainers enter first (see Early Access and Rewards).

Do I need to be an existing Sunflower Land player?

No. Yakkamon is a completely new game and anyone can pre-register with just an email. Sunflower Land players are very welcome, but nothing carries over as a requirement.

What's the difference between the Monster Egg, the airdrop, and the free mint?

This is the most common mix-up, so here it is in one place. There are three separate rewards, won three different ways:

You can have all three. They don't compete and one doesn't replace another. Signing up gets you an egg, earning points can get you an airdrop, and minting in mid-September can get you a minted monster.

Is my sign-up Monster Egg an NFT?

No. The egg you get for signing up is an in-game item, not an NFT. You don't mint it, you don't need a wallet for it, and it isn't part of the free mint or the NFT Airdrop. It just appears on your farm the first time you log into the game.

How many can be minted in the free mint?

Coming soon. We're still finalising it. The free mint is launching via the Ronin launchpad, and we're working directly with the Ronin team on the whitelist, the wave structure and the total supply — including the anti-sybil checks that keep bots and multi-accounts out. We'll announce all of it well ahead of mint day (see Free Mint).

Do I need to mint to get my Monster Egg?

No. They're unrelated. Your egg is already yours from signing up and arrives on your farm automatically. The free mint is a separate, optional event in mid-September for a different thing — an NFT monster.

Does signing up early get me early access?

No. Signing up early gets you one thing: a better egg type. It does not give you early access, reserve a spot, guarantee a Monster NFT, or put you ahead of anyone on the leaderboard.

Early access goes to the top 100,000 trainers on points. To get in — and to get in early — you have to earn points and climb (see Early Access and Rewards).

So what does signing up early actually get me?

A better egg tier, and nothing more:

A Platinum egg is a nicer starting egg. It is not a head start on the leaderboard.

These eggs are not NFTs and they are not airdropped. Your Monster Egg simply appears on your farm the first time you log into the game — there's nothing to claim and no wallet needed. It is completely separate from the NFT Airdrop.

I signed up late — did I miss out?

No. Your egg tier is set, but everything that matters is still fully open to you. Rank is earned, not reserved — a Basic egg holder who earns points daily will finish above a Platinum egg holder who signed up first and never came back.

Is the NFT airdrop first come, first served?

No. The 5,000 Monster NFTs go to the top 5,000 trainers on the points leaderboard, not the first 5,000 to sign up (see NFT Airdrop).

Did the 12 August update make my rank worth less?

No. No leaderboard rank came away with a weaker monster than it was already in line for.

What changed is that the tiers got wider and the monsters got better. Lower-tier Yakkamon utility is being lifted to match the traits players were already expecting, and the old 501–1,000 band widened to 501–2,000 — so Legendaries now run twice as deep down the leaderboard as they used to.

The one genuinely new addition is Storm, airdropped to the top 50. It was added above the top of the old ladder rather than pushing anyone down it: the monster that used to sit at the top is now called Echo, and everyone in the top 50 was upgraded past it onto Storm.

What is the egg counter on the pre-registration page?

That's the Monster Egg counter — it's tracking egg tiers only. It is not an early-access counter and it is not counting down Monster NFTs. When a tier fills up, the only thing you've missed is that egg type (see Early Access and Rewards).

Which network is Yakkamon on?

Ronin — the same network the Monster NFT free mint runs on (see Free Mint).
